I recently had the opportunity to be apart of the Merky FC HQ launch. A space for not only upcoming footballers but also to foster community engagement and empower young talent.

The Facility serves as a hub for creativity, collaboration and growth. I had the chance to witness the positive impact that Merky FC is making on the vibrant community, from providing opportunities for aspiring footballers to showcasing the talents of the local youth.

This type of facility is inspirational for both the comunity and the broader culture. By investing in the local community, Merky opening doors for bright futures and serves hope in the heart of Croydon. They bring people together and create opportunities for growth and development. Im excited to witness the difference in the community within the football industry through supporting future generations.

The launch event included brands such as Adidas, EA sports, Nandos and DIVERSE, the goody bags included a Merky x Adidas kit, football boots, a rucksack plus a water bottle and music was by DJ Tiiny and DJ Chidera. The launch was a success in not only bringing excitement and possibilities to the community but also sparking inspiration and ideas to those in attendance who can contribute to similar projects around the country.
