So over the last three weeks I happen to travel on a number of airlines and I was surprised with how each airline operated differently.
Emirates were still allowing online check in which made it super easy at the airport however their plane was full, there was no spacing between travellers not travelling together. They did operate a row by row exist which was incredibly long on a full plane. However Emirates offered the best hygiene package on arrival of the aircraft which included multiple anti bacterial wipes and gel, gloves and masks.
BA did not allow a full online check in which caused a little delay at the airport however they had every middle seat empty on a full plane & on my return flight home there were only 40 people on board so they had allocated everyone their own row. They also distributed a hygiene pack but only consisted of anti-bacterial products.
Delta allowed online check in & left every middle seat empty also, although they allowed passengers in the same party to move and sit next to each other if they wished too. An odd sighting on the journey was a little pup occupying the lap of the lady in front of me. I guess covid has had no impact on pets travelling!
During this unusual time I can honestly say flying hasn’t been as painful as it has been previously. I do have to say I felt most comfortable on BA & I do hope the aviation industry keep up some of their cleaning & service changes they have made during this time. Small things like hygiene packs they give out on boarding and the most important being the way they now all clean the air on the aircraft. During all flights all airlines have had repeated announcements explaining how they now ensure the air is cleaned which rings alarm bells to what was taking place before covid 👀?! But lets not get into that.
For anyone that has to travel soon and has not yet, do not worry! I have enjoyed travelling through quieter airports and on cleaner planes. Little things you must remember like changing your mask every 4 hours is key, if you are in a long-haul flight.
An air stewardess on BA informed me of this and it makes complete sense. They are no good if we are breathing in our own bacteria our body naturally gets rid of!
Also check if your airports stores are open before travelling, like me you may leave a few things to purchase in the airport... don’t!
Finally if the airline does not allow you to complete your check in online I would add an extra 20 minutes to your usual or preferred airport arrival time!
Hope this helps anyone having to travel soon and unsure with who to fly with.

''Lost some of my hottest verses down in Cabo...
Well not verses like our good friend Drake but I did lose my headphones in Cabo, however that’s not for this blog.
Rewind back to October, Episode 10 of What on God’s Green is going on in 2020!
I was blessed to visit the wonderful cities of Mexico City and Cabo for my friends 30th birthday trip.
Having only been to Cancun in Mexico I was not sure how similar Cabo would be, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Cabo felt like the cool older sister to Cancun, the sister that has the shoes and clothes Cancun always asks to borrow but just lacks that Je ne sais quoi to pull it off with the same attitude as Cabo. Which I guess is something that comes with age (as I typed that I thought of me to my siblings, you can call me Cabo from here on out).
With the pandemic still around the night clubs remained closed and restaurants and bars served until 10-11pm; but this did not dime the energy that Cabo ouzes.
Between the wonderful service and food at the Viceroy Los Cabos, the hospitality of the locals around the Marina restaurants and Cabo adventures and the unique vibe of the beach clubs we had a brilliant trip.
If you follow us on Instagram you would have seen the live tour of event spaces around the Viceroy (click here to watch) and by the end of our visit the hotel is now a venue we will be offering to our event and travel clients.
So for anyone thinking about a nice get away early next year here is a list of a few Cabo Gems;
Viceroy Cabo and Nobu Hotel are beautiful and not just in decor and settings but their service also.
Two other great hotels are El Encanto All Inc and JW Marriott, however there were many with fantastic reviews.
My favourite restaurant during the trip was Nido at the Viceroy.
Hard Rock hotel is MAYHEM, take what you please from that.
From the UK there are no direct flights, you will have to stop in mexico city. I would recommend staying there for at least 2 nights before flying to Cabo. It is on my list to return and spend a week in the Capital.
The majority of the popular beach clubs are along the same beach; select one as a starting point and you can move throughout the day if you wish and there is availability.
Hosting an event in Cabo… its a yes from me. Obviously I feel in love with the Viceroy however there are a number of hotels with event spaces both indoor and outdoor. Perfect spaces for weddings, social events, group trips and activations for brands.
Cabo is also popular for honeymooners too.
Use the search bar below for great rates on hotels!
When in doubt or want a stress free experience contact us with your travel, accommodation and event enquiries!
I thought I would keep this light for a Sunday morning however do feel free to contact us with any questions or enquiries.
Stay safe, take your vitamins and lets all hope events and travel will be back to normal soon!

Living through Phil!
Evening lovely’s,
This may have not needed a full blog however iv missed so many things and writing is one of them, so I thought why not.
If you have been following Serenity’s Instagram page pre-covid, you will know how much we love traveling for events and leisure. The people we meet, the new venues we discover and work with and the FOOD!
When ever I am away both my personal page and Serenity’s stories is flooded with food photos and yes I know it can be annoying to see sometimes but I truly only post the food I really enjoy. I tend to not post about 25% of the meals I have so I am considerate.
Anyway during this isolation I have missed the world, this month we would have been in Mykonos bringing to life a Pop Up for a client launching their product in Greece. If you have been to anywhere in Greece you know how much we are missing out on great weather, the perfect summer vibe and flawless food.
Well I found a new TV show that somehow satisfies my craving for travel yet makes me more hungry for it at the same time. I’m not sure how it happens but throughout the show I am content and then when it is finished I am looking through our travel systems planning a trip.
Somebody Feed Phil, you can find it on Netflix and it has everything; travel, food, dinner parties and culture.
I cannot lie I think I watched 4 episodes in one day, I was virtually travelling around the world.
One episode in Denmark pushed me to the supermarket to try to create one of the meals Phil had eaten. Optimistic I know.
Check it out and let me know what you think & your favourite destination featured.
A big thanks to Phil and the team behind the show, I have my travel for 2021 mapped out (of course in between our clients events)!
I hope you are all staying safe and well.
