Summer Highlights: A Glimpse into Our Unforgettable Events

As the summer sun begins to set on another season, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible events we've had the pleasure of managing at Serenity London. From intimate birthday dinners to stunning weddings, this summer has been nothing short of magical. Let’s take a stroll down memory lane and revisit some of our standout moments.

Dinner at Dusk
We kicked off the summer festivities with my own birthday dinner for 25 guests at Skewd at the Grove in Watford. The atmosphere was charming, perfectly encapsulating the theme of "Dinner at Dusk." The setting was beautiful, with twinkling fairy lights and soft candlelight creating a warm ambiance. The food was a highlight of the evening, showcasing a delightful array of dishes that left everyone raving about the flavors. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff ensuring that every detail was just right. It was the perfect way to celebrate another trip around the sun!

Beach Bliss in Liopetri
Next up was the wedding of Angelina and Jack, held in the picturesque village of Liopetri, Cyprus. This charming coastal village is known for its stunning beaches and friendly locals, making it an ideal backdrop for their nuptials. The ceremony took place right on the beach, with the sun shining down and waves gently lapping at the shore. The beauty of the scene was breathtaking, as the couple exchanged vows against a backdrop of azure waters and golden sands. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and the joy of two uniting as one.

A Night of Spectacular Celebration
We then ventured to the City of Dreams for the wedding of Emine and Kyri. This luxurious resort is renowned for its stunning architecture and world-class amenities, making it a top choice for couples looking to tie the knot in style. The ceremony took place in the amphitheater, adding a touch of grandeur to the occasion. Afterward, guests were treated to an unforgettable party on the event lawn, featuring an array of entertainers, including the talented Hovig & DJ Andreas. The celebration was vibrant and lively, wrapping up at 3 AM with everyone still buzzing from the excitement of the night.

Luxury and Elegance at the Amara Hotel
Finally, we celebrated the wedding of Nicole and Reiss at the Amara Hotel in Limassol. Known for its exquisite service and stunning views, the Amara remains one of my favourite hotels in the area. The team went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect. The couple’s love story was beautifully woven into the day, creating a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our incredible suppliers who played a vital role in making each occasion a success. A special shoutout to Christos from Luciana Floristry for his stunning floral designs, George from Creative Films for capturing the magic on film, and to our talented photographers Kerim, Louis, and Karina for their breathtaking shots that beautifully documented every moment. We are also grateful to Pyrgos Fireworks for adding that extra sparkle of celebration, Soleas AV for their exceptional audio-visual services, and Socially Michelle for her expertise in content creation. As we bid farewell to summer, I’m filled with gratitude for the amazing events we’ve had the privilege to manage. Each wedding and celebration was unique, reflecting the personalities and love stories of the couples we worked with. I’m already looking forward to the fall events on the horizon, ready to create more beautiful memories for our corporate clients and brands.

72 Days Till Your Signature Christmas!

So there are 72 days until Christmas and I would hope you are all beginning your Christmas Prep (organisation is key!).

As we know hosting Christmas Dinner can be stressful, exciting, tiring and rewarding. If you host yearly you always think how can I better last year and if this is your first Christmas you wonder how you can creating a true Christmas for your guests.

Being a guest at someone else's house also has its challenges with the question being; WHAT SHOULD I CONTRIBUTE TO THE DAY?

So we have decided to create a  Signature Special Christmas Treat Bar to give your Christmas day the extra special touch. For those hosting it will also save you a great deal of time running around buying cakes and sweets to statisfy your guests sweet tooths.

Our bars can consist of large cakes, mini cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, Christmas sweets, brownies, chocolates, custom candy bowls and more. We can also create dairy, gluten and nut free bars, so do not hesitate to ask! You can have as little and as much as you like.

Book a Signature Special Christmas Treat Bar by the end of October and get 10% quoting SLCHTMS16.

All Christmas Bars are set up Christmas Eve.

Serenity London Launch

So after a year of being in business, we decided with the birth of our new sister company Serenity London Event Staffing, January 2016 would be the best time to launch Serenity London Group.

Having a launch event for any business is always beneficial - it creates awareness.

As event planners, this was a joy for us (even though planning an Event for ourselves actually proved harder than for a client - who knew we were so fussy?!)

With the help of all of our business partners, we were able to come together to create an event with all the factors - and chic venue in the heart of Chelsea, versatile DJs, an amazing sweet-cart, some pretty stunning centerpieces, a high tech photo-booth, a magician that will have you questioning your eyesight, alcohol bubbling all night long, a goody-bag full of samples, vouchers and information, and of course, the best mini cupcakes, brownies and fruit tarts you will ever try!

As well as inviting our closest family and friends, this event was more for networking and meeting new faces - and that we did!

We had the pleasure of meeting many individuals from all different working backgrounds, from fashion to tech, fitness, mechanics, marketing, advertising, bloggers and many more.

It was wonderful to meet with like minded business individuals and to hear their stories, hopes and plans for the future.

So, if you have a business or product and have yet to have or even thought of having an official launch, our advice to you - do it!

Put yourself out there, be confident in your brand that you want to introduce it to the world, you never know what could come out of a single encounter with a new face!

So here’s Serenity’s top tips for your launch:

1- Timing - make sure you/your team/your product is where it needs to be before launching, don’t rush - these things take time, but when the time is right, go for it!

2- Attention to detail - the small touches can make the biggest difference. The extra you put in can be what you get out. Give everyone who has taken the time to attend your launch something to remember. With us this wasn't hard as event planning and detail is what we do - but in whatever field, show off your talent and abilities in any way you can. The effort and lengths you go to even show the passion you have in your business and it will sell not only you but your services. 

3- Who attends - Now this one's a biggie. Make sure you think long and hard about the audience you’re attracting. As much as you know you could probably fill up a room with your friends and family - that’s not the objective. Think about potential clients/customers, reach out to like-minded business, individuals that you would like in your network.

4- Make sure your guests leave with something - We provided a gift bag for our guests, as well as packing it full of goodies and vouchers from different companies - the most important piece of content for us was providing everyone who attending with our 2016 brochure.This brochure included all of the relevant information about our company and all of our contact details in a sleek, modern booklet.
